     When the desired look is “old world,” the casings of choice are Vista’s Collagen. Produced from natural collagen material, they are refined and processed to retain their natural properties while enhanced for machinability and size control.
APPLICATIONS
  • Cooked, smoked, dry and cold smoked meats.
  • Collagen middles ideal for pepperoni, salami, and summer sausage.
  • Collagen rounds are the choice for cooked and smoked ring products such as ring bologna.
FEATURES
  • Water vapor permeable, making it especially suited to products where drying is part of the process. Dries evenly while conforming to the product.
  • Superb size control, along with casing strength, results in increased production.
  • Excellent smoke permeability gives superior color and flavor.
  • Comparable in appearance and smoke taste to a natural casing product.
